Unity Park, located in Richmond, CA is a community led project that is funded by a Grant from State Parks written by Friends of the Richmond Greenway to develop the existing Richmond Greenway between 4th-20th Streets. The design process was led by multiple community groups over a two year period to respond to the needs of community and city stakeholders. The goal behind the project is to activate a neglected space to become a multi-use, adaptable center that promotes health, civic engagement and environmental quality.
