The Herman garden is the result of collaborative effort between artist Josh Herman and landscape architect JC Miller of Vallier Design Associates. It is equal parts a sculpture park, botanical garden, fruit orchard, and a family playground. Drawing on California’s rich legacy of mid-century landscape design, the Herman garden thrives in the La Jolla’s benign climate.
