CHEVRON CORPORATION WORLD HEADQUARTERS PEAR ORCHARD COURTYARD

Vallier Design Associates, Inc. serves as an On-Call Landscape Architect for the Chevron Corporation and has renovated several courtyards at their business campuses. The Pear Orchard Courtyard was an undeveloped area home to a bosque of beautiful, old pear trees. By removing failing trees, a useable space was created for employee lunches and hosted events. New pavers, tree grates and lighting were installed as well as a new central plaza and paths. The site’s existing, predominantly green plant palette was enhanced with colorful plants, creating a vibrant space with a strong character.
