Vallier Design Associates, Inc. in collaboration with BKF Engineers, developed design and construction documents for streetscape improvements for a section of the San Francisco Bay Trail that runs through downtown Point Richmond alongside the historic Richmond Natatorium. Vallier Design Associates, Inc. proposed lighting and landscaping improvements for a quarter

mile section that linked two existing segments of the trail. VDA worked to build consensus for the design with the local neighborhood council and the Trails for Richmond Action Committee. Additionally, VDA worked with Public Works and the Parks and Landscaping Division to insure that the improvements complied with City standards and maintenance practices.
